Hirota Glass was founded in 1899 and is the oldest glass tableware company in Tokyo. They inherited traditional glass manufacturing introduced from Europe and by using handcrafts such as Edo Kiriko (traditional Japanese cut glass) and blown glass they continue to create products that blend in with modern living. Hirota Glass opened its Japanese Glass Museum in 2017 in Tokyo.
